This In-service will apply towards the first national DCI certification for teachers to teach in schools multimedia/video. Most teachers background to teach video come from majoring in broadcasting at the universities or employed at a local TV station, this nation certification will give an excellent balance for teachers to teach students not just equipment and software but, reading, writing, communication and job skills for future employment. Most educators and broadcasters do not realize that 80% of the job markets for our kids are in corporate world not TV Stations.   Theses days of teaching how to operate stuff to students and not teaching application in skills are over. Middle and high Schools need to teach all these competencies. These applications and a balance class can be used for the school, community and jobs.  The typical case is where 80% of the budget goes into the TV studio room. In reality it’s used 20% of the time.
